Storage Opportunity Partners LLC acquired the Secure Self Storage facility at 376 Hathaway Road in New Bedford, MA, from The Veritas Group LLC for $4.4 million, or approximately $8,510 per unit or $62 per square foot.

The 71,025-square-foot, Class A storage property was constructed in 2003, contains about 517 units and is located south of Boston at 376 Hathaway Road in New Bedford, at the interchange of Interstate 195 and State Route 140 in the Attleboro/New Bedford Industrial submarket.

Jerry Smith of Veritas represented buyer, a company headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI and Newton Highlands, MA that specializes in the acquisition, development, management and disposition of self storage facilities. HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller.
