Storagecraft offers competitive upgrade pricing for shadowprotect server edition

StorageCraft Technology Corporation, a provider of innovative disk-based backup, disaster recovery, system migration, data protection and security solutions for servers, desktops and laptops, today announced it is offering special competitive upgrade pricing on StorageCraft ShadowProtect Server Edition(TM) 3.2, the latest version of the award-winning ShadowProtect(TM) line of disk-based backup and disaster recovery software. The special pricing includes a discount for businesses that use server versions of Acronis True Image and Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery wishing to purchase StorageCraft ShadowProtect Server Edition 3.2.

StorageCraft ShadowProtect Server Edition 3.2 includes hardware independent restore (HIR) features, allowing IT administrators to backup, restore or migrate servers to and from any environment, including the same system, dissimilar hardware or virtual environments such as VMware and Microsoft.

"HIR alone is a great reason to switch to ShadowProtect Server Edition," said Curt James, vice president of marketing and business development at StorageCraft. "In addition, it allows you to recover a server quickly or migrate to or from a virtual environment. It's an extremely versatile tool and along with competitive upgrade pricing, it makes ShadowProtect a tremendous value."

CRN just named StorageCraft an Emerging Technology Vendor, recognizing its commitment to its reseller partners and for its award-winning technology.

"At a time when other vendors are moving away from the channel, StorageCraft is showing its commitment to its partners by offering a channel-only competitive upgrade," said Mike Kunz, director of sales at StorageCraft. "In addition, we have one of the fastest-growing partner programs in the United States, according to VARBusiness, so now is the right time to make the switch."

How to Receive Upgrade Pricing

Competitive upgrade discount pricing for existing Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery, Symantec Live State Recovery Advanced Server, Symantec Live State Recovery Standard Server Edition, Symantec V2i Protector Server Edition, Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server, Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows and Acronis True Image Server for Windows customers is 35 percent off the list price when they switch to ShadowProtect Server Edition 3.2. To obtain competitive upgrade pricing, resellers should send an e-mail message to discounts@storagecraft.com or a fax message to +1 801 545-4705, and include one of the following: a copy of their license certificate(s), a copy of their purchase receipt or an e-mail confirmation from a download purchase. In addition, customers may mail their product CD as proof of purchase to StorageCraft Technology Corporation, 121 W. Election Road, Draper, Utah, 84020.

This offer is available in North America and South America only.
