Radware boosts switch platform

MAHWAH, N.J. -- Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), the leading provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, today announced that the company is building on its Business Smart Data Center strategy by continuing to roll out its OnDemand Switch platforms - with the introduction of its OnDemand Switch 3 next-generation application delivery platform offering throughput of up to 16 Gbps and its new version of AppDirector, integrating new on demand application acceleration services.

In today's difficult economy budgeting, capacity planning and return on investment are capturing center stage. Enterprises, large and small, are looking for ways to advance their datacenters to serve business requirements whilst reducing costs to save money. Radware's OnDemand Switch platform family is the ideal answer.

Radware's OnDemand Switch was specifically designed to ensure long-term savings whilst providing customers with breakthrough performance, superior throughput and service scalability. This platform provides the most comprehensive throughput coverage available on the market today offering 0-16 Gbps and is setting a new standard in the ADC marketplace by providing customers with a new, pay-as-you-grow, hassle-free upgradeable and flexible solution - dramatically reducing TCO and eliminating the risk of poor capacity planning.

"Within weeks of the initial product launch, we closed our first OnDemand Switch transaction with a US airline. Our customer was impressed with the new platform's performance, scalability and most of all the easy-license upgrade approach, which minimizes the impact on their IT resources, stated Norm Shockley, CEO Adeara. "The OnDemand Switch pay-as-you grow flexibility will help us win more load balancing business in a market where recession fears are making technology buyers more conservative."
