National lampoon counts on internap

ATLANTA -- Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a global provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, announced today that National Lampoon, Inc., one of the most widely recognized brands in comedy, is running its popular National Lampoon Humor Network and ad services on Internap's Managed Server solution.

The National Lampoon Humor Network is an aggregation of the best of the best in humor and college lifestyle sites on the Web, reaching the 18-34-year-old demographic with millions of monthly unique visitors. Also included in the Humor Network are key National Lampoon Internet properties, including NationalLampoon.com, the online successor to the legendary magazine; NationalLampoonSplog.com, National Lampoon's take on the world of sports; and DrunkUniversity.com, a college-focused content site and associated online network.

Over the years, National Lampoon has grown from a magazine publisher to a digital media company, online content producer and vertical ad network. Internap's managed servers and content delivery platform are enabling National Lampoon to deliver its large video entertainment library through nationallampoon.com and Network affiliates, as well as increase revenue opportunities by launching a myriad of vertical ad networks for targeted demographics.
